I hope you find something close to what you're looking for. The plasma rifle is a weapon in Fallout 4. Not only does the plasma gun hit hard in terms of physical damage, it also deals some nice energy damage on top. The gun uses small energy cells, so it is in fact just a small rework of the default laser gun with the same animations. Set a checkmark in front of 'WeightGain_SSBBW.esp' file in Nexus Mod Manager 'Plugins' tab. The Deliverer Mk 2 mod will allow you to unlock the gun much earlier in Fallout 4, as it can be found in the root cellar of Sanctuary. I noticed a lack of other lmgs on Nexus, but I think that's because most large gun mods focus on weapons that benefit from the heavy perk, so they tend to be alternatives to the minigun and gatling laser.
